2016 BMW S1000 XR $8,995

BMW built the S1000 XR for riders who want superbike sharpness without giving up real-world comfort, and this 2016 example shows exactly why the formula works. The red paint pops without trying too hard, and with only 1,748 miles, it’s barely past break-in. The XR carries that familiar 999cc snarl, but the ergonomics and wind protection make it far more civilized on longer stints. This one comes spec’d with the Premium Package and a few thoughtful add-ons, giving it the right mix of tech, protection, and everyday usability. If you’ve been hunting for an XR that hasn’t lived a hard life, this low-mileage unit is about as clean as they come. • Premium Package • Titanium radiator guard • Lowered seat • Factory electronic aids included with the trim (not expanded beyond what the package provides) Condition is excellent across the board. The mileage speaks for itself, and the bike shows the kind of light use and proper storage you expect from a machine with this few hours on it. Controls, plastics, and finishes are crisp. The lowered seat offers easier reach at stops without compromising the XR’s handling character, and the titanium guard adds simple, effective protection up front. Everything operates as it should with no noted issues on the intake. If you want an XR that feels fresh, looks sharp, and is priced well below new, this one is ready to make your shortlist.
