The Valkyrie was a cruiser made off the basic frame and powerplant from the touring oriented GoldWing. Then the Interstate model took that Valkyrie cruiser and made a 'touring cruiser' out of that by adding a fork mounted fairing w/ stereo, a larger fuel tank and a rear tour trunk. Looks like it was meant to go head to head with the Electra Glides and Ventures of that era, but Honda only sold them from '99-'01 and they are pretty sought after as fewer of them are available.
